Position: Senior Systems
Engineer, RF and digital subsystem development
Contract position: Work from
your home or from our office.
Duration: 6 months.
Qualifications: M.Eng or
Ph.D. (preferred) with 3-5 years experience minimum.
Knowledge of:
- RF and digital signal processing.
- Adaptive digital subsystems (LMS/RLS/SFTF updates)
- RF up/down conversion techniques.
- Analysis and simulation using Matlab or equivalent
simulators.
- Synthesizer and PLL design and analysis.
- Cascade analysis of RF signal processing components.
- QAM, DSSS and OFDM modulation formats.
- Generation of BER curves.
- Interleaving, puncturing, FEC.
- 802.11/15 specifications
Job Description: Assist Dr.’s
Birkett, Yensen and Lariviere to develop new architectures for
802.xx radio systems including advanced coding, compression, and
adaptive techniques to achieve >100Mbps data rates.
